Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 100 gms for kala masala:whole dry coriander


  • 25 gms cumin seeds


  • 25 gms black pepper corn


  • 5 nos brown elaichi


  • 10 piece cloves


  • 2 nos cinnamon stick


  • 2 tsp dry mango powder


  • 2 tsp anardana


  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • 5 tsp dry amla


  • 2 tsp kasuri methi


  • 2 cups for chana :white chana


  • 2 nos silver onion


  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste


  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste


  • 1 tsp salt..as taste


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 4 tsp oil

Directions

  • To make a kala masala:Take a pan add all masala dry roasted ,color r black then gas off.
  • Then masala r cool take a grinder jar add masala and grind make a powder.
  • Make a chana:Chana wash and soaked at over night.
  • After soaking chana boil .
  • After boiling 2tsp kala chana masala mix in boiled chana and cover with cooker lid.
  • Take a wok add oil ,oil heat then add garlic saute then add sliced onion and ginger saute till golden brown add salt ,red chilli and boiled chana mix well add gravy boil for 5 minutes.
  • White masala chana r ready.
  • Note..No turmeric and no tomato used for this chana. Left over masala pack in air tight container.
